Nestled high in the valley above Nijar, the location boasts stunning views toward Cabo de Gata, despite the presence of some industrial farms in the distance. The rooms, comfortably furnished with a rustic charm, provided a cozy atmosphere as I visited in November. Highlights included an inviting terrace with a pool, perfect for soaking up the sun while enjoying a crisp glass of wine. The abundance of walking routes nearby, particularly the scenic hike along the old water mills, allowed me to immerse myself in the natural beauty of the region. What truly made my experience memorable was the attentiveness of the host, Celeste. She effortlessly created a welcoming environment, going the extra mile to ensure my comfort and share local insights that guided my explorations. The breakfast offered was satisfying, setting a positive tone for each day. This destination represents a balance of tranquility and cultural immersion.
